Lecture and Performance | | Spend an unforgettable day in Venice at the Zimmerli Art Museum. In conjunction with Two Venetian Masters, the museum offers a unique afternoon of cultural enrichment. - 2 PM attend a lecture on Venetian art by distinguished scholar William Barcham, recently retired as Professor of Art History at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York and a leading authority on the art of Venice.
- 3:30 PM enjoy a concert of music inspired by Venetian themes, performed by the celebrated pianist Juana Zayas. The performance includes works by Scarlatti, Chopin, and Schumann.
The afternoon includes light refreshments at 3 PM.
| | TICKETING | | Tickets are $10 for Zimmerli members and $15 for nonmembers. For the lecture only, tickets are $5 for members and $7 for nonmembers. All tickets are free to Rutgers faculty, staff, and students with valid IDs. Tickets are available in advance at the reception desk or by calling 732.932.7237, ext. 615.
