TRAVEL TO VENICE WITHOUT LEAVING THE USA!

AN AFTERNOON IN VENICE

VENETIAN HOURS
Lecture and Performance

Spend an unforgettable day in Venice at the Zimmerli Art Museum. In conjunction with Two Venetian Masters, the museum offers a unique afternoon of cultural enrichment.

  • 2 PM attend a lecture on Venetian art by distinguished scholar William Barcham, recently retired as Professor of Art History at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York and a leading authority on the art of Venice.
  • 3:30 PM enjoy a concert of music inspired by Venetian themes, performed by the celebrated pianist Juana Zayas. The performance includes works by Scarlatti, Chopin, and Schumann.
    The afternoon includes light refreshments at 3 PM.

TICKETING

Tickets are $10 for Zimmerli members and $15 for nonmembers. For the lecture only, tickets are $5 for members and $7 for nonmembers. All tickets are free to Rutgers faculty, staff, and students with valid IDs.
