Synopsis: An older, fuddy-duddy professor and his spry, whimsical wife return again to their rustic Maine woods cabin to idly pass another summer, comically connecting with the random forces of Mother Nature and coping with changing family generations and values, while keenly attuned to the soft and wistful passing of time.
Director Tina Lee is seeking 3 Adult Males ages 44, 45 and 79; 2 Adult Females, ages 42 and 69 and 1 Boy age 13.
CHARACTER BREAKDOWN:
- Norman Thayer, Jr.: 79 yr. old male, Dry sense of humor, boyish and spunky.
- Ethel Thayer: 69 yr. old female, Adorable and very energetic.
- Charlie Martin: 44 yr. old male, Strong Maine accent, strong belly laugh.
- Chelsea Thayer Wayne: 42 yr. old female, Daughter of Norman and Ethel, athletic with a nervous edge to her.
- Billy Ray: 13 yr. old male, Flippant and awkward.
- Bill Ray: 45 yr. old male, Self serving with a good sense of humor.
