The Centenary Stage Company (CSC), a professional Equity theater in residence on the campus of Centenary College in Hackettstown, will hold open-call auditions
WHEN: Thursday, September 1, 10 – 7 PM
WHERE: The Kutz Theater of the David and Carol Lackland Center, 715 Grand Avenue, Hackettstown.
Rehearsals will begin Sept. 12, and the production will run from Sept. 29- Oct. 16.
CSC operates under an Equity SPT contract, which allows for both non-Equity and Equity performers. Sides will be available on site.
CSC is casting the following roles(M = Male/F – Female):
- Miss Lowell: 20’s F, Secretary, Pert and professional
- Carleton Fitzgerald: 40’s+ M, Director, a grand man of the theatre, every action filled with drama
- Owen Turner: 40’s M, writer, a jaded playwright who has seen it all before
- Stella Livingston: 50’s-60’s F, Mother of the star;a “handsome, old hoodlum”
- Peter Sloan: 20’s M: playwright; young, naïve writer whose first play is opening
- Sidney Black: 40’s-50’s M, producer, a short man who is a dynamo, a “one purpose guy,” always about money
- Irene Livingston: 30’s F, Star; “exudes the ineffable essence of a great star of the stage”
- Tyler Rayburn: 30’s + M, married to Irene; comes from a wealthy family; a bit of a bore
