A world premiere by Ian August. This limited engagement is directed by Marc Geller and stars Andrea Gallo as Donna. Something is not quite right with Donna. Her life seems perfect—a loving husband, children out of the house, and status as a minor celebrity on the amateur bake sale circuit. But she's losing her grip on her calm, and gravity isn't working for her the way it used to. It takes a string of vehicular mishaps, an attempted assault with a deadly bible and a children's book about a retired astronaut to help her find the trail of cookie crumbs that might lead her back to Earth. WHEN: September 8-25. Performances are Thursdays, Fridays at 8 PM, Saturdays at 3 PM and 8 PM and Sundays at 2 PM. Additional matinees on Thursday, Sept 8 and Friday, Sept 9 at 2 PM. Set in Manhattan and its suburbs, Jack Canfora’s Jericho is a thought-provoking new play that explores how people cope with collective and personal tragedy. Canfora’s characters are touchingly human, struggling to learn what it means to belong to another person and to a larger community, all while figuring out how to meet their own needs. With surprising humor, "Jericho" undertakes some of the larger and more troubling questions of American life without forgetting that every struggle, even political ones, is ultimately personal.
