As every Texan will proudly tell you, everything is bigger in Texas. Especially the hairdos. And the off-beat personalities. Not to mention the scandals. And how about those Texas-sized laughs? When the matriarch of a south Texas family dies under extremely humiliating circumstances, her entire clan is afraid that all the family skeletons will come flying out of the closet at once. And that’s just a prelude to what may be one of the most embarrassing and hilarious funerals ever seen on stage. There’s no doubt that this black comedy about white trash will have you doubled over and laughing all the way from here to the Lone Star State.

Contains mature themes and language.

The Bergen County Players has grown tremendously from its roots as a small community theater when it was founded in 1932; today, nearly 300 volunteer members, working on and off stage, make possible the nine productions presented each season.
