ROCK THAT AUDITION:A Musical Theater and Dramatic Audition Workshop
WHEN: Sunday, May 22, 6 PM

The must-have audition class you need in order to rock (and book) that next musical theater audition! This workshop will also hone your 2-minute audition skills and improve a favorite monologue. Small improvements make a huge difference and can secure that coveted part in your next production.
The Ground UP panel will include Guy Olivieri (RENT-National Tour, Tick Tick Boom, and Little Shop of Horrors) and Kate Middleton (Chicago, The Full Monty, Weston Playhouse; Marty, Huntington Theatre; South Pacific, ArtPark; and Carnival, Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey) and other members of Ground UP Productions.

It's A Business, WORK IT!: An "Acting As a Business" Seminar
WHEN: Sunday, June 5, 6 PM

Hosted by Guy Olivieri of "Actors that Make Money", this seminar will teach you the keys to success in this business.

Show business is like any other industry, and every actor must treat himself as his own company. He is the CEO, CFO, CIO, Marketing Director, Public Relations Director... every officer of that company. This workshop will explore what the business is actually like: where work comes from, how their unions work, what an agent is for, and lots more! Secondly, it will help the actor come up with a solid marketing strategy to optimize the opportunities available, and create new ones. From headshots, to demo reels, to agents, to day jobs within the business, this seminar will give you the tools you will need if you choose a career in acting post-high school or college graduation.  If you are thinking of pursuing a theater/film career, this seminar is NOT TO BE MISSED!
