Sharon Roffman, violin, Julie Albers, cello, both stunning virtuosos, return from their international performances to perform celebrated repertoire including the remarkable duos by Kodály and Handel-Halveson.
The Concert Artist Program brings world-renowned performing musicians onto the faculty of the Conservatory of Music. While maintaining successful careers as professional performers, Concert Artists present solo, chamber music, and jazz recitals at Kean; teach private, weekly studio lessons to Kean students; and conduct master classes and other community outreach services in the public schools and junior colleges. Some Concert Artists also coach ensembles and teach classroom courses related to their specialties.
