HARVEST PROGRAM @ FOSTERFIELDS LIVING HISTORICAL FARM THIS WEEKEND

Fosterfields Living Historical Farm Participates In

3rd Annual Local Harvest:
Farms, Food & Family

WHERE: The Cultural Center, 300 Mendham Road, Morris Township,
WHEN: Saturday, February 12, (snow date: February 13) from 12 Noon to 4 PM
FREE ADMISSION (donations appreciated)

Enjoy the following on-going events throughout the day:

  • A sampling of early 20th Century farm life heritage
  • Sustainable farming practices
  • Information about heritage breeds.
  • Meet local farmers and food artisans
  • Purchase seasonal vegetables and fruits, grass-fed beef and pork, sustainably raised poultry, eggs, cheeses, breads, teas, and prepared foods from local growers.
  • Find out how to purchase seasonal farm shares at Genesis Farm in Blairstown, NJ, and Rogowski Farm in Warwick, NY.

Participants in the event include:

  • Bob-O-Link Dairy and Bakeyard
  • Valley Shepherd Creamery
  • Appleridge Farm
  • Best Fruit Farm
  • Arthur & Friends

Additional parking will be available at Fosterfields with free shuttle buses transporting visitors to-and-from the Cultural Center.
