ICE FESTIVAL THIS WEEKEND DOWN THE SHORE

Looking for a fun cultural event this weekend…one that’s a bit out of the ordinary? Trek on down to Pier Village for an ice sculpture show:

Its First Annual
Ice Festival

  • Friday, January 14th
    6 PM - The Big Chill Kick-off Party! Witness a chimney of ice set ablaze on the beach for a true Bonfire on the Beach. Bring blankets and chairs and sip free hot chocolate while you watch a tower of ice disappear.
  • Saturday, January 15th
    12 Noon- Come see ice take new form as master carvers create eight different sculptures. Stroll along the shops and vote for your favorite!
    3 PM - Visit Cake, Bake & Roll as they offer their own Cupcake "ICE"ing Demonstration and Tasting and a Q & A open forum with Pastry Chefs as they share techniques and talented baking tips!
    7 PM - Get ready to be wowed! Lights, Music, Action as The Fear No Ice Team takes center stage on Festival Plaza and starts up the chain saws! Watch them attack an 8' x 5' block of ice and turn it into something "Cool"! Click here for more information.
