The multi-talented saxophonist and multi-keyboardist Edgar Winter is fresh off his tour with Ringo Starr’s All Star Band. His hits  include “Frankenstein,” “Free Ride” and “We All Had a Real Good Time.”

Legendary rock and blues guitarist Rick Derringer is known for his songs including “Rock and Roll Hoochie Koo,” “Still Alive and Well,” “Hang On, Sloopy” and “Bad to the Bone.”

271804Edgar Winter formed the Edgar Winter Group in 1972. Their 1973 album, They Only Come Out at Night, peaked at #3 on the Billboard charts and stayed on the charts for 80 weeks. It went Certified Gold in April 1973 and went Double Platinum in November 1986.

Winter invented the keyboard body strap early in his career and become known for high energy performances. His music has been featured in over 15 film and television projects.

Rick_Derringer-largeRick Derringer was only 17 when his band The McCoys knocked The Beatles hit “Yesterday” out of the top spot with their hit “Hang On, Sloppy” in 1965. After four successful years of touring, Derringer appeared on the albums of such big name stars as Alice Cooper, Steely Dan, Cyndi Lauper, Kiss and Barbara Streisand. He discovered Weird Al Yankovic and produced his Grammy Award-winning songs and albums. Derringer continued to record music into the new millennium and expanded his horizons with genres.

Edgar Winter and Rick Derringer have collaborated in the past. The performance is sure to display their amazing musical talents.
