sharon isbin Ms. Isbin has over 25 recordings and has been acclaimed for expanding the guitar repertoire with some of the finest new works of the century. She is a two-time GRAMMY® Award winner for “Best Instrumental Soloist,” which made her the first classical guitarist in 28 years to win a GRAMMY®. Her world premiere recording of concerti written for her by Academy Award winner Tan Dun and Pulitzer Prize-winner Christopher Rouse also won a GRAMMY®.

Ms. Isbin also performs duos with Brazilian percussionist Thiago de Mello (and trios with saxophonist Paul Winter), duos with mezzo-soprano Gemma Coma-Alabert, and with violinist Mark O’Connor.
