The excellent Luna Stage Company—evicted last year from its theater in the very unlucky neighboring community of Montclair—has chosen this municipality as its new home. Better still, it’s making an astonishing first impression with “The Old Settler,” John Henry Redwood’s wonderfully funny, charming and honest play. As potent as “The Old Settler” was in its American premiere in 1997 at the McCarter Theatre in Princeton, it works even better here in this intimate playhouse.
