Four fashionably dressed couples arrive at the home of New York City’s deputy mayor and his wife to celebrate their tenth wedding anniversary. The four couples soon discover there are no servants, the hostess is missing and the deputy mayor has shot himself in the head (relax…just a flesh wound). Comic complications proliferate, doors get slammed and hilarity is unleashed as the friends conspire to conceal the evening’s events from the local police and the media (and, sometimes, even from each other)!
